Burn 500 Calories In One Workout

Can you really burn 500 calories in one workout? I just saw this video on You Tube and thought I would post it here. The video claims to show you a workout that will burn 500 calories. Here it is below for your viewing pleasure.

Judging by the comments left for this video there is a lot of skepticism out there as to whether or not you can burn 500 calories in this one workout. I can tell you this much about this workout… You burn a lot more calories whenever you perform compound or multi-joint movements and all four exercises in this video are multi-joint movements and a couple of them also involve forms of resistance which also increases the amount of calories you burn.

So can this little workout burn 500 calories?

It can if you do it at full intensity and if you do all four exercises 3 times or you do each circuit three times or for three sets. What’s important to note here is that this type of exercise program should be done first thing in the morning to maximize the amount of fat you burn and to boost your metabolism basically all day.
